We are noticed some fraud traders are selling goods with a highest price including essential goods even in this critical situation in the country. Therefore, A special investigation was conducted by CAA at Monaragala District on 30th of March 2020. Specially observed the controlled prices for essential goods set by the Government and Sellers were advised to display a price board specially for the vegetables by Investigation officers of the CAA at Monaragala District.

Most of the wholesale shops, Sathosa outlet, Foodcity were visited and given instructions in order to confirm the availability of the essential goods in their stocks for the public at the controlled price set by the government.
