Therein the relevant officers had visited SJ Computers Institute and purchased an optical wheel mouse costs of Rs.450.00 and in the bill the cage for guarantee period had been crossed.
Consumer Affairs Authority has ordered the manufacturers/dealers/importers of all electric and/or electronic goods/ appliances/ accessories to give a guarantee period of at least of 6 months for electric and/or electronic goods/ appliances/ accessories as per the order No.37 published by 1726/16 of 04th October 2011 of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka ,functioning under section 10(1)of Consumer Affairs Authority Act.
